The Chandler Home Addition

Project Overview

This Chandler family had outgrown their home but loved their neighborhood. Instead of moving, they called Taylor Brothers Builders to add a 400 square foot family room off the back of the house. The goal was to create a space that felt like it was always part of the original build.

What We Did

We handled everything from architectural planning and permitting to foundation, framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC integration, insulation, drywall, and all interior finishes. The new family room features vaulted ceilings, large sliding glass doors that open to the backyard, recessed lighting, luxury vinyl plank flooring to match the existing home, and custom baseboards and trim. We matched the exterior stucco, roofline, and paint so the addition blends seamlessly.
